This song was inspired during a sermon on 2 Kings chapter 13. The pastor related the bow and arrows story in verses 14 thru 19 to prayer. There is not enough taught about the power in prayer. Our weapons indeed are not carnal, but Spiritual and prayer and the Word are two of our greatest forces available to win the battles. We know the war is already won, hallelujah! Daniel chapter 9:1-10 illustrates for me that even prophecy is enforced or empowered by prayer.
