We know the Lord goes before us, but He also has our backs! He is our rear Guard, protecting us all around. Through all the travels of this life, all the dangers, perils, pain, and joys, He is there, ahead AND behind. Like with Moses and the children of Israel in the wilderness, He came in a pillar of cloud or fire between them and the pursuing Egyptian army and protected. I don’t have to worry, no matter what valley I travel. And He is behind me, protecting me from my past. Such a powerful truth!
