The mayor of our city spoke at our church and related the true story of a newspaper report. I happened to have knowledge that what the mayor was sharing was true, so I knew what the paper reported just wasn’t the story. That and my childhood training in atheism inspired this song. The more I know God, the more my mind is changed and I’m able to, more often, see things in proper perspective: from God’s point of view.
