The Lord was dealing with me for becoming hard hearted towards those who need help and who are hurting. This was my prayer that He would help me to have my heart more closely resemble His in compassion and love for others. And His comfort came to me, that I wasn’t the answer for the hurting, He was. I can direct them to “come to Him, all who are weary and heavy laden”. He is their source. But I am here to help! And as I care, I am free from my selfcenteredness. His yoke is easy and His burden is light.
