Jesus said if we love Him we’ll keep His commandments. He said we are His friends if we do as He commands. The Bible says to obey is better than sacrifice. We don’t obey so that God will love us. We obey BECAUSE He loves us and we love Him and are SO GRATEFUL to Him that all we want to do is please him! I am a very cut-to-the-chase, down-to-earth, bottom-line person. I like knowing the truth, the nuts-and-bolts. I like knowing where I am at a glance. (Enough cliches!) There are sill absolute truths even in this day and age. Thank God!
